Privacy statement for the Opscom web site

Scope

The relationship between a data controlling organization and the data processor is required to be regulated through a Data Processing Agreement. The agreement shall ensure that personal information is processed in accordance with regulations, and establishes clear boundaries for how a data processor can process information.
For the Opscom web site, the Data Controller is Opscom Systems.

Definitions

The Data Controller determines the purpose for the processing of personal data, and the means to be used. The Data Controller is responsible for ensuring that the processing of information is in accordance with the requirements established by the Personal Data Act. Processing of personal information includes all use of personal information, such as collection, registering, combining, storing and disclosure or a combination of such usage.

The Data Processor is the entity which processes personal information on the behalf of the Data Controller.

The Data Processor has an independent responsibility for maintaining satisfactory data sequrity, in order to protect the information that is processed on behalf of the Data Controller. The Data Processor shall only process personal information in accordance with the agreement with the Data Controller.A Data Processor has a independent responsibility for personal information that is processed on their own behalf, such as information regarding their own enployees.

Which data do we collect?

These are data you submit yourself when you communicate with us, including through our web site, phone or e-mail.

Cookies are stored on your device, and provides us with anonymous usage information regarding which page you are watching, date/time, which web browser you are using, including version information, and the IP-address of your device.

These data are not used to identify you as an individual person.

Where do we store the data?

We store our customer data on our own servers, and use Microsoft Outlook/Office 365 for e-mail communication. In addition, customer data is shared through the system "Pipeline Deals", which is the tool we use for marketing. Anonymous user information is stored at "Google Analytics" for network traffic analysis of our web site.

We might send you newsletters and information about Opscom. You can unsubscribe from this service yourself, either through a link in the newsletter, or by contacting us.

Access and rectification

You have the right to access your personal data that we have registered. Access can be obtained by sending a request to support, support@opscomsystems.com.

If the data we have registered are incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete, you can request that we correct the data according to The Personal Data Act.

Storage and deletion

Data that no longer are neccesary for the purpose which they were stored for, will be deleted from our systems.
